暑い暑い夏が続いております石垣島です。
先日、ビーチでイベントが開催されていると聞いて、18：00くらいから底地ビーチへ出掛けて来ました。
この日は珍しく、バンドや屋台などが展開されていたので、駐車場は大混雑。
初めて底地ビーチで駐車場に並びました。
日差しがちょうど差し込むタイミングで眩しすぎたのですが、タイミングよくお日様が雲の陰に隠れてからはとっても過ごしやすくなってリラックスできました。心地よい音楽にビーチの開放感。最高でした。

It's scorching hot here on Ishigaki Island, where summer continues.
The other day, I heard that there was an event taking place at the Sukuji Beach, so around 6:00 PM, I headed there.
On this day, it was rare to see bands and food stalls set up, so the parking lot was crowded. It was my first time queuing for a parking spot at Sukuji Beach.

The sunlight was too dazzling at first, but luckily, the sun hid behind the clouds, and it became much more comfortable and relaxing. The combination of pleasant music and the open atmosphere of the beach was fantastic.
The event square was bustling with people.
The silhouettes of people against the backdrop looked wonderful.
I was able to take many great photos.

底地ビーチは西のほう向いているので、西日がきつい〜。ですので、日が落ちてからの少しの時間がビーチを楽しむ貴重な時間となります！
底地ビーチには遊泳エリアにハブクラゲ除けネットが貼ってあり、日中は管理人の方も常駐しているので安心して遊べるビーチです。
ただ遠浅のビーチで干潮時には膝下以下の水位になることもあるので、がっつり泳ぎたい方はご注意を。また、ネットが張ってあるのでお魚などの生き物もほぼいないので、シュノーケリングで海の生き物たちを観察したい方は米原、ビーチなど、他のビーチをおすすめします。
Since Sukuji Beach faces west, the setting sun can be intense. Therefore, the time after sunset becomes a precious moment to enjoy the beach!
At Sukuji Beach, there are nets in the swimming area to protect against poisonous jellyfish, and there is a beach supervisor during the day, so you can enjoy the beach with peace of mind. However, please note that the beach is shallow, and during low tide, the water level may be below knee-deep, so if you want to swim extensively, be cautious. Additionally, since the nets prevent the presence of fish and other marine creatures, if you wish to observe marine life while snorkeling, I recommend other beaches like Yonehara Beach.
