新しく鰻屋さんが石垣にオープンした、と書いたのですが、すでにここのお店はしばらく前に閉店していました〜ロスカットが早い！
このお店があったのはアルルタウンと言うショッピングエリアですが、最近お店の入れ替わりが激しくて、
この間も長い間あった雑貨屋さんが閉店されて、次に何かまた新しくテナントさんが入るみたいで改装工事をしています。
次はどんなお店が入るのかな？
人手不足や、物資の供給が安定しないこと、そもそものターゲットになる人口が少ないのに賃貸料金が高かったり、といろんなバランスが悪いんだろうなーって、石垣島で商売をやる厳しさを目の当たりにしています。
それにしても…お店の入れ替わりが激しいってなんだか寂しいです。それだけ生存競争が厳しいんだなーっというか、簡単にお店が開けるって言う気軽さもあるけど…なんというか、商店街がシャッター通りになる寂しさに似ています。この気持ちなんて言うのかな？

This shop was located in a shopping area called Arlutown, but there's been a lot of shop turnover recently.
A long-standing general store closed recently, and it looks like a new tenant will be coming in next, so they're doing some renovation work.
What kind of shop will be next?
I'm witnessing the harshness of doing business on Ishigaki Island, with the lack of manpower, unstable supply of goods, high rental rates with a small target population to begin with, and various other imbalances.
Still... it's kind of sad that there is a lot of turnover in the shops. It's like the loneliness of a shuttered shopping street. What do you call this feeling?
