カビカビの襲来 石垣島はカビ天国？！ Attack of the moulds. Ishigaki Island is a fungus heaven!

湿気が高い高い石垣島です。

私は常に除湿機を回しているのですが、やられしまいました。

その場所は壁にかけた額の裏でした。

子供がもらってきた表彰状をホームセンターで買ってきた額に入れて壁に飾っていました。

久しぶりに模様替えをしようとその額を外してみると、なんとその裏がびっしり黒カビ青カビで覆われていました。ショックすぎる〜

2年弱壁に飾ったままにしていたものについては表彰状自体にもカビが生えていて、かなりショックでした！

石垣島の湿気侮るべからず。沖縄本島とは違います。

The humidity is high in Ishigaki Island.
I always run the dehumidifier, but I got hit.

The place was behind a picture frame on the wall.
I had put my children's award certificates in a frame I bought at DIY shop and hung it on the wall.
When I took the frame off to redecorate, I found that the back of the frame was covered with black mould and blue mould. I was so shocked!
For the one that had been left on the wall for less than two years, the award certificate itself was also covered with mold, which was quite a shock!
Don't underestimate the humidity in Ishigaki Island. Don't underestimate the humidity on Ishigaki Island, it's different from the main island of Okinawa.

とりあえずカビの生えた表彰状の裏側はアルコールをむきかけたキッチンペーパーでぬぐってみるとなかなかきれいになったので、まぁよしとします。

今後どうしたらいいの〜！？

他にも木製の額をいくつかお部屋に飾ってあるので明日はそれらをチェックしてみたいと思います。

お気に入りの絵の額にカビが生えてたらどうしよう〜！恐怖でしかありません。

I wiped the back side of the mouldy award certificate with a piece of kitchen paper covered with alcohol and it came out quite clean, so that's good.
What should I do now?
I have some other wooden frames in my room, so I'll check them tomorrow.
What if the frames of my favourite pictures have mould on them? I'm just terrified.
