梅雨に入って久しいですが、今日は大雨警報が出る位どっさり雨が降っています。
毎朝水たまりの上を通過して送り迎えをしていますが、先日車で水たまりの上を勢いよく通過して、すぐ曲がろうと思ったらハンドルが切れず…焦りました。誰もいなくてよかった。
水を含んだら何か変わるんでしょうか?
私、車の事はよく知らないのです。
新聞報道で、長雨が続くのでさとうきびがりの機械、ハーベスターが使えず困っていると言うのがありました。確かに泥が入り込むと機械がすぐ止まってしまいそうですね。だからといって手で刈るのはすごい作業量で途方に暮れてしまいそうです。
早くこの長雨が終わらないかなぁと思いつつ雲の向こうには激烈な太陽が待ち構えているので恐ろしいなぁと思っているところです。お日様怖い！

It has been a long time since we entered the rainy season, and today it is raining so heavily that there is a heavy rain warning.
I drive over puddles every morning to pick up and drop off my children, but the other day I drove over a puddle and I couldn't turn the wheel when I wanted to turn... Thank goodness no one was there.
Does it make any difference if it contains water?
I don't know much about cars.
There was a newspaper report that the sugar cane harvesters can't be used because of the long rains. I can imagine that the machine seems to stop as soon as the mud gets in. That said, it is a huge amount of work to harvest by hand and we seem to be at a loss.
I'm hoping that this long spell of rain will end soon, but I'm also thinking that the fierce sun is waiting for me behind the clouds, and I'm terrified. The sun scares me!
