リビングのエアコンが動かなくなりました。
他の部屋のエアコンで室内の空調管理していますが、心もとないです。
これは離島あるあるなんでしょうかね？
今まで、内地で暮らしていた頃は、エアコンが壊れたことがなかったので、これも沖縄ならではなのかなぁと思っています。
内地にいた頃よりも格段にエアコンを酷使しており、このエアコンは購入から4年が経とうかと言うところですが、もうガタが来ちゃったみたいです。
湿気からくる劣化かなぁと個人的には思っています。
というのも、先日うちの椅子が壊れてしまい、分解してみるとクッション部分のスプリングを支える金属の一部が錆びて劣化していたところから問題は発生していたようで。
錆＝湿気かなぁと素人判断なのですが、思っています。
もう一脚のほうも同じような症状が起き始めているので、椅子のシートを剥がしてバネの修理をしなくてはいけません。
湿気による物の劣化はさておき、
販売店に連絡すると見に来てくれるまでに1週間、それから部品を注文したりなどあるので治るまでにはしばらく時間がかかりそうです…
離島だからこんなに時間がかかるんでしょうか?？そもそもエアコンが壊れたことがないので分かりません〜
まだ真夏ではありませんがエアコンはほぼフル稼働させている時期なので、ちょっと困りました。
まぁまだ真夏じゃなかっただけマシと言うことにしておきましょう！

When I used to live in the main island, my air-conditioner never broke down, so I wonder if this is also unique to Okinawa.
I use my air-conditioner much more than when I was in main island, and it has been four years since I bought this air-conditioner, but it seems that it has already become worn out.
I personally think it might be the deterioration from humidity.
The other day, one of our chairs broke down, and when I took it apart, I found that a part of the metal supporting the springs in the cushion part had rusted and deteriorated, and that's when the problem started.
Rust = moisture, I think, although it is a layman's judgement.
The other chair is starting to show the same symptoms, so I need to remove the seat of the chair and repair the spring.
Aside from things deteriorating due to moisture.
It's going to take a week for the dealer to come and look at it when I contact them, then I have to order parts and so on, so it's going to be a while before it's fixed...
Is it because we are on a remote island that it takes so long? I don't know because I've never had an air conditioner break down in the first place...
It's not midsummer yet, but it's the time of year when the air conditioner is running almost full blast, so it's a bit of a problem.
Well, let's just say it's a good thing it wasn't midsummer yet!
