【石垣島グルメ】「高級ホテルの味が2,500円!? 石垣島『ANAインターコンチネンタル』の話題のビュッフェ」

なんとあの五つ星ホテルのANAインターコンチネンタル石垣のレストランがコスパの良い？ランチビュッフェを始めました〜こりゃ地元民殺到しそう。

土曜日曜祝日限定の中華ランチビュッフェなのですが、ホテルの高級中華が、この値段で(2500円)食べられる！？ちなみに、石垣住民でない方はお一人様3000円です。(ただしグループの中に1人でも石垣住民がいれば割引適用の模様)

ということで、早速お腹いっぱい食べてきました！

結論

地元の人は、まぁとりあえず一回は行ってみては良いのではないでしょうか？

普通においしかったですっていうかほんとおいしかったです。私は焼きそばの味付けが好みです。

ラインナップ的にはまぁ定番からちょっと変わったものまで揃えてあり、

料理の種類は一度に全部食べ切れないほどのバリエーションがありました。ちょっとお野菜系が少なかったかなぁ〜画面が茶色になりました。

良かった点:普段はなかなか食べない、ホテルの中華料理を自分の好きなタイミングでお腹いっぱい食べることができた。

残念な点:せいろで蒸されている点心が熱々でどうやって取っていいかよくわからなかった。(お店の人に聞いてとってもらいましたアチアチ)

デザートがあまりワクワクしないラインナップでございました。

6月までの週末ずっと開催されているようなので、また機会を見てお友達とワイワイおしゃべりを兼ねて行ってみたいと思います！

The five-star ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort has started offering a surprisingly affordable lunch buffet at their Chinese restaurant! This is bound to attract a lot of locals.

It’s a Chinese lunch buffet available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Can you believe you can enjoy high-end hotel Chinese cuisine for just 2,500 yen? For non-Ishigaki residents, the price is 3,000 yen per person. (However, if even one person in your group is an Ishigaki resident, the discount applies!)

So, of course, I went ahead and indulged in the buffet to my heart’s content!

My Verdict

If you’re a local, it’s definitely worth trying at least once!

The food was generally good—actually, it was really delicious. I particularly liked the flavor of the yakisoba.

The buffet lineup ranged from classic dishes to some more unique offerings. There was such a wide variety of dishes that it was impossible to try everything in one sitting. That said, I did feel there was a slight lack of vegetable-based dishes—it left my plate looking pretty brown overall.

What I Loved:

• Getting to enjoy as much high-quality hotel Chinese food as I wanted, at my own pace, was a rare treat.

What Could Be Improved:

• The dim sum, which was steamed in a bamboo steamer, was piping hot, and I wasn’t quite sure how to take it out safely (I ended up asking the staff to help me—it was super hot!).
• The dessert selection wasn’t particularly exciting.

The buffet is running every weekend until June, so I’m thinking of going back with some friends to chat and enjoy the food together!

閉店しましたの張り紙を見つけて、がっくり。

【石垣島グルメ】お昼の中華定食なら、ここ 湖南楼

今日も行ってきました

湖南楼

ついつい言っちゃうんだよね〜

お手軽に中華定食ランチが食べられます😊

観光地価格ではないので、地元の人も多いです。

チャーハンもあるし、麺メニューもたくさん、もちろん餃子もあります。

いろんなメニューがあって飽きずにいられるはずなんですが、

最近注文するメニューが固定してきました…。

鶏の唐揚げをアレンジしたメニュー(ゆーりんちー、甘辛炒め、甘酢炒めなど)

または、肉だんご定食です。

12時ちょっと過ぎに入店しましたが、その後続々お客さんが来店！

あっという間に満席になりました。

ワンオペ、料理を作られているので、

満席になったり、注文が立て込むと出てくるまでにとっても時間がかかります。

ということで、オススメは11時台の入店です😊

今日もバッチリ美味しくいただきました。お腹いっぱい。

場所は、石垣島の農産物が集まるゆらてぃく市場のすぐそばです。ゆらてぃく市場でお買い物後に訪れるのもいいですね。

今日は市場で地元で生産された葉っぱのブーケを買いました。石垣島に紅葉や桜吹雪は無いけれど、こういった熱帯植物を楽しめばいいんだって思いました。

【石垣島グルメ】ISHIGAKI LABO イシガキラボのパン

ここ何年かで、石垣島もパン屋さんが充実してきました。

こちらのパン屋さん、ISHIGAKI LABO イシガキラボさんもその新興パン屋さんの一つ。

以前は市街地より遥か遠くの地にあったのですが、しばらく前に市街地エリアにお引越しされました。

以前は年に１，２回しか行けなかったのですが、近くなったことで月一は行ってます、確実に。

お高いけど…おいしいんですよねー

インスタグラムで焼き上がり状況などをUPしてくださっているので、

お目当てのパンがあるときはチェックしてから行ってます。

私のお気に入りはバゲット〜

パン屋さんって結構、菓子パンやお惣菜パンの割合が多いので、バゲットみたいなシンプルなパンは外せないのです。お塩を振ったオリーブオイルに浸したバゲットって最高！

以下は私が良く買うパンの一例です。

明太フランス〜焼きカレーパン、ベーコンエピ。

揚げ油を摂取しなくて済む安心感がうれしい！

ふわふわ系も好きだけど、ここの店のパンはハード系で美味しい😋んです。

噛みごたえがしっかりあって、満足感があります。

美味しさには大満足なのですが、お値段が少々お高め。

一回行くと3つか4つ買っちゃうので1000円から1500円用意して行くのをおすすめします。

十八番街にはまだまだビンテージ感あふれる、建物、テナントがいっぱーい。

廃墟好きやビンテージ好きの方の琴線に触れそうな建物がいっぱいあります。

【石垣島暮らし】台風が来そうだったけど typhoon season in Ishigaki, Okinawa

久しぶりに台風が近づいてきていました。

石垣島に住んでると、台風はもう付き合いの長い“常連さん”みたいなもの。でも、毎回ちょっとドキドキする。今回も台風18号が接近しました。でも途中で失速して熱帯低気圧に変わっちゃいました。

ということで、台風にまつわるお話を書いてみます。

台風前の準備:
　台風が来るってなると、まずみんなスーパーへ直行。水とかカップ麺、ポテトチップスとかが一気に売り切れるのが毎回の光景。あるお友達はやることないから飲むしかないってアルコールを大量に買い込みます。

家では植木鉢を片付けたり、飛ばされそうな物を固定して準備完了。そうそう、車のガソリンも満タンにしておかないと。

慣れてるとはいえ、やっぱり慎重になります。でも、最近、超大型の台風が来て大変だったってことがないから、ちょっと危機意識が薄れてきている気がします。あぶなーい。

　石垣島の自然はほんとに美しいけど、同時にその強さを実感することもある。台風が来るたびに、自然の力ってすごいなぁって思わされます。これもまた、島暮らしの一部なんだなって感じる瞬間でもあり。

本当は危ないからやっちゃいけないんだけど、前回の台風では、うちの前の道にTシャツ短パンで出て、ずぶ濡れになってきました。雨粒が顔に当たってとっても痛かったです、もちろんずぶ濡れw いやはや楽しかったです。

　台風が通り過ぎると、まずはみんなで後片付けスタート。風で飛ばされたものを拾ったり、掃除したり、復旧作業が始まる。もちろん被害が出ることもあるけど、島の人たちは、すぐに日常を取り戻していくのです。

それにしても、最近台風の数も減ったし、台風で大きな被害が出たと言うニュースを聞かなくなったなぁ〜

今回も結局台風は来ず、肩透かしを食らった感じ。

台風が来ないので、海水温が上昇しすぎてサンゴが死んでいっていると言うニュースをよく聞きます。それがちょっと心配。

さぁ、次はいつ台風が来るかしら？

It’s been a while since a typhoon approached us.

Living on Ishigaki Island, typhoons feel like familiar “regulars.” Yet, each time they come, there’s still a bit of excitement. This time, Typhoon No. 18 was on its way, but it weakened into a tropical depression along the way.

So, I thought I’d share some stories related to typhoons.

**Preparing for a Typhoon:**
When a typhoon is approaching, everyone rushes to the supermarket. Water, instant noodles, and potato chips are always the first to sell out. One friend of mine, having nothing else to do, buys a lot of alcohol just to drink.

At home, we tidy up the potted plants and secure anything that might blow away. Oh, and we make sure to fill up our cars with gas.

Even though we’re used to it, we still take precautions. However, since we haven’t had any super-strong typhoons lately, I feel like our sense of urgency is fading a bit. That’s a little scary.

Ishigaki Island’s nature is truly beautiful, but it also reminds us of its strength. Every time a typhoon comes, I’m reminded of the power of nature. It’s moments like these that make me feel it’s part of island living.

Honestly, it’s dangerous and I shouldn’t do it, but during the last typhoon, I went outside in just a T-shirt and shorts and got completely soaked. The raindrops hitting my face were really painful, but I had a lot of fun!

Once the typhoon passes, we all start the cleanup together. Picking up items blown away by the wind, cleaning up, and getting things back to normal. Of course, there can be damage, but the people on the island quickly return to their daily lives.

That said, I’ve noticed that the number of typhoons lately has decreased, and I haven’t heard about significant damage from typhoons in the news.

In the end, this time there wasn’t even a typhoon, which felt like a letdown.

I often hear news about rising sea temperatures causing coral to die because there haven’t been any typhoons. That worries me a bit.

So, when will the next typhoon come?

【石垣島の９月】まだまだ暑いゾ 初の海上アスレチックへ / September in Ishigakijima】It's still hot! First time to go to a sports activity at sea!

日本の本土(沖縄県以外)は、もう秋を感じる季節になりましたでしょうか？

こちら石垣島にも少し秋の気配や感じられるものの、

まだまだ暑い日が続いております。

ということで、先日真栄里ビーチに行ってきました！

日中は日差しが強すぎるので、午後4時以降にスタートするよう予定を組んでインターコンチネンタルホテルのアクティビティの1つであるオーシャンパーク(海上アスレチックのようなもの)を初体験してきました。

いやいや、見た目に反して、これは結構ハード！

受付を済ますとライフジャケットを着てアスレチック開始です。

メディアで目にすることはあっても実際体験するのは今回が初めてでした。

みんなひょいひょい楽しそうに遊んでいる様子を見ていたから、

軽く考えていたのですが、結構体力的にハード。（私だけかも？）

近くにいた親子連れのお母さん、血相を変えて子供になにか叫んでいましたｗ

一度海に落ちたら、フロートの上に上がるのが大変で、大変で。いっぱい汗かきました。明日は筋肉痛かしら？

こちらの海上アスレチックは、お金を払えば、外来での利用もできると言うことで、今回行ってきました、でも宿泊者も有料での利用となるようです。

ちなみにこちらの真栄里ビーチはホテルのプライベートビーチではなく、

宿泊者以外の人にも開かれたパブリックビーチで、

ホテル敷地内に宿泊者以外の人も駐車できるスペースがあって、

今回私はそこに車を止めて歩いてビーチへ向かいました。

もうずっと石垣に住んでいるのにこんなにビーチの近くに駐車場があるなんて知りませんでした。

トンネルになっているから、ワクワク感があります。トトロ出そうってお友達が言っていました。

So, I went to Maesato Beach the other day!

The sun was too strong during the daytime, so I made a schedule to start after 4:00 p.m. and experienced Ocean Park, one of the InterContinental Hotel's activities (like an athletic activity on the sea) for the first time.

Well, no, contrary to appearances, this is quite hard!

After registration, you put on a life jacket and start the athletic activity.

This was the first time for me to actually experience it, even though I had seen it in the media.

I had seen people playing happily in the water,

I thought it was a bit of a lighthearted experience, but it was quite physically demanding. (Maybe it was just me?).

A mother of a family nearby was screaming something to her child.

Once I fell into the water, it was hard, hard, hard to get back up on the float. I was sweating a lot. Will my muscles be sore tomorrow?

We went to this ocean athletic facility because it is available for outpatients if you pay, but it seems that guests also have to pay.

By the way, this Maesato Beach is not a private beach of the hotel,

It is a public beach open to people other than hotel guests,

There is a parking space for non-guests on the hotel grounds,

I parked my car there and walked to the beach.

I have been living in Ishigaki for a long time, but I didn't know there was a parking lot so close to the beach.
