石垣島の秋祭りautumn festival in Ishigaki

コロナで3年ぶりの開催となった秋祭り、
大川地区の秋祭りに行ってきました。

踊りや歌、棒術といろいろな出し物があり、

祭りの最後を盛り上げたのは獅子舞！

たくさんの親が獅子に噛んでもらおうと小さな子供を差し出す姿が印象的でした。

2人1組で獅子の中に入って、人間が動かしているのはわかっているのですが、赤い提灯がぼんやりと光る薄暗い中で獅子を見ていると、本物の動物が動いているように見えて素晴らしかったです。

お尻をフリフリしたり、ごろごろ回転したりと本当にたくさんの動きを見せてくれて、練習も大変だっただろうにと尊敬しました。

小さい子供たちは本当に大きな動物が来たと思って大泣きをしていて、それだけ迫力があるんです。

コロナが明けてそろそろ日常が戻ってくるのでしょうか？楽しみです。

The first autumn festival in Covid-19 in three years, the
I went to the autumn festival in the Okawa area.

There was dancing, singing, stick-fighting and all sorts of other entertainments.
The festival ended on a high note with a lion dance!

It was impressive to see so many parents offering their small children to be bitten by the lions.

We went inside the lions in pairs and I know that people were moving them, but watching the lions in the dim light with the red lanterns shining dimly was wonderful, it looked like a real animal was moving.

They showed so many movements, such as flicking their hips and spinning around, and I respected how hard it must have been for them to practise.

The little children cried so hard because they thought a really big animal was coming, and I was impressed by how powerful it was.

Will the Covid-19 dawn and we'll be back to our daily routine soon? I am looking forward to it.

日曜日はメイクマンでブルーシールアイス ice cream on Sunday

日曜日はアイスクリームが50円引きキャンペーンをやっているブルーシールアイスクリームです。

と言うことで、ジュニアダブル(小さめアイスが2つ)を食べてきました。

↓こちらのサンデーは割引ではありませんでしたが、ビジュアルの良さに惹かれて購入してしまいました。

1番上に乗っている丸いものがてっきりアイスクリームかなと思っていたら、ちんすこう的なクッキーでした。

トッピングに、ドラゴンフルーツが添えられていて、食べてみましたが、よくわからない味でしたw

そもそも、ドラゴンフルーツって味ある？

ちょっと疑問なのですが…お友達に言わせるととっても美味しくて味があるよ！との事でした。

ブルーシールアイスはホームセンターのメイクマンの中にあります。

この日は日曜日だったし、割引もあるのでかなり賑わっていました。

何かの圧力により、サーティーワンアイスクリームは石垣島には入って来れないと言う噂を耳にしました。ほんとかな？

↓ This sundae was not discounted, but I bought it because of the visual appeal.

I thought the round thing on the top was ice cream, but it was a Chinsuko-like cookie.

The topping was dragon fruit and I tried it, but I couldn't really taste it. I mean I couldn't recognize what it tasted like.

I'm a bit doubtful if dragon fruit is tasty… because it’s just a fruit of cactus but my friend says it's very tasty and has a taste!

Blue Seal Ice Cream is located in the Makeman Home Centre.

It was Sunday and there was a discount, so it was quite busy.

I heard a rumour that due to some pressure, Thirty-One Ice Cream is not allowed to come into Ishigaki Island. Is it true?

2022年8月の電気料金は初の3万円オーバー Electricity bills over 30000 yen

お友達のおうちも3万円を超えたと言うのでうちもそろそろかなと思っていたらやっぱり3万円超えてました！

今年はめっちゃ値上がりしたなぁ〜去年は全然3万円に届いてなかったはず。

離島なので電力会社も選ぶことができず、沖縄電力をずっと使ってまーす。

一度ソフトバンク系列(？忘れちゃった)の第三勢力系電力会社から電話があって契約したはずなんですが、結局離島だってことで外されたみたいです。

しかも家のエアコン調子が悪くて5月からあんまり冷えてくれません。

5月、8月と修理に来てもらったのですが冷やし切ることができず…エディオンさんではもう手の施しようがないと言うことなので、エアコンのメーカーさんに直に連絡してもらって対応してもらっているのですが、結局室温設定19度にしても部屋の温度は30度。困ったもんです。

電気料金3万円でもその分、所得もスライドしてインフレしてくれればいいんですがね…

給料は上がらないのに物価だけ上がるのは全くもって困ります！

円安も激しいから気分転換に海外にもいけなくなっちゃったし…嫌なニュースはいっぱいあるけど、良いことを見つけてHappyに生活していきたいです。

コロナ頃のはなんでもかんでも自粛で嫌だったけど、その分高級ホテルに格安で泊まれて、しかもガラガラ😊みたいなこともあったなー🤭とか。

何にでも一長一短あると思うのでポジティブなことに目を向けていこうと思います。

Electricity tariffs in August 2022 will exceed 30,000 yen for the first time.

I can't choose the electricity company because I'm on a remote island, so I've been using Okinawa Electric Power for a long time.
Once, I tried a third electricity company, a Softbank company (? I think I once signed a contract with a third-party Softbank-affiliated power company, but in the end it didn't work because we are on a remote island.

Moreover, the air conditioner in my house is not working well, and it hasn't been very cool since May.
I had to have it repaired in May and August, but it wouldn't cool down... EDION said there was nothing more they could do, so I contacted the manufacturer of the air conditioner directly to deal with the problem, but in the end, the room temperature is set at 19°C, but the temperature in the room is 30°C. The room temperature is 30°C. This is a problem.

Even if the electricity bill is 30,000 yen, I wish my income would slide and inflation would rise by that amount...
It's a total problem that prices only go up while salaries don't!

The yen is so weak that I can't even go abroad for a change... It's all bad news, but I want to find something good and live a happy life.

I didn't like everything during Covid-19 because of the self-restraint, but there were some good things, like being able to stay in luxury hotels at a discount...
I think there are pros and cons to everything, so I will look at the positive things.

久々の太門でチャーシュー麺 Chashu noodles in Ishigaki

久しぶりにチャーシュー麺を食べることができました。

最近ずっと閉まっていて何度も店の前を通り過ぎるばかりだったのですが

いよいよ開店しているタイミングに出会うことができました！

久々にチャーシュー麺、チャーハン、餃子を食べることができて満足しました。

私はシャイなので、なぜお店がしばらくの間閉まっていたのかお店の人に聞くことができなかったのですが、これからも時々はラーメンチャーハンを食べることができたらいいなと思っています。

こんな感じの街中華は石垣で他に食べれないから〜

I was too shy to ask the shop owner why the shop had been closed for a while, but I hope to be able to eat ramen fried rice from time to time in the future.
Because you can't eat street Chinese like this anywhere else in Ishigaki~.

暑い日でした。

でも少し風があったので、お外の席にしてみました。

ハンバーグランチ1800円なり。

ちょっと前まで1500円だったんですが〜

ご時世ですかね？

いろんなお店で値上げのニュースを聞きます。

すべてのものが値上がりしているので仕方がないと思います。(気軽にランチに来れなくなっちゃうけど…)

デザートには紅茶のケーキ

ひと口サイズでパクパク。一瞬でいただきました。

コーヒーがワイングラスに入れてあって、いつもと違うなぁ〜

はじめの一口を飲んだ時にフルーティーな香りがしたのは気のせいでしょうか？

今回も全部おいしかったです！満足満足。

サンセットSUP sunset SUP in Nagura bay, Ishigaki, Okinawa

穏やかな名蔵湾でSUP(スタンドアップパドル)をこいでもらいました。

SUPをやるならやっぱり湾内ですね！外海は流されてしまいそうで怖い。

いままでに川平湾、名蔵湾、底地ビーチでSUPを楽しみました。

インフレータブルSUPなので膨らませるのがちょっと大変ですが、大きいお家にすんでいないので仕方がありません。このSUPももう3年目？あんまり使わないけど、役に立ってくれています。

もちろん、アマゾンで買いましたｗ

サップの上に寝転んで夕日や空を眺めるなんて、とってもぜいたくな時間を過ごしました。

サンセットの後反対側の空をみるとお空にはお月様がぽっかりとかわいく浮かんでいました。

また来たいです。

We had SUP (stand up paddle) paddling in the calm Nagura Bay.

If you're going to SUP, it's best to do it in the bay! The open sea is scary because you might get swept away.

So far we have enjoyed SUP in Kabira Bay, Nagura Bay and Sukuji Beach.

It's a bit difficult to inflate the inflatable SUP, but I don't live in a big house, so it can't be helped. This SUP is already three years old? I don't use it much, but it has served me well.

Of course, I bought it on Amazon.w

I had the most luxurious time lying on the sup and watching the sunset and sky.

After the sunset, I looked at the sky on the other side and saw the moon floating prettily in the sky.

I would like to come back again.

汗だくで 来夏世-くなつゆ〜の八重山そば soba noodles in a sweaty mess at Kunatsuyu, Ishigaki, Okinawa

ドーンと窓も開け放して開放的な来夏世でおそばを食べてきました。

おそばのボリュームすごい！八重山そば中サイズです。

やっぱりうまい！
太るなぁと思いながら、スープを飲むのを止めれませんでした。

ほんとに、スープがおいしいんです！

じゅーしー(炊き込みご飯)とセットにして、炭水化物山盛りランチ。

ジューシーをもぐもぐ食べながら、さらにちょっとスープを口に含むと言う、おいしいにおいしいを重ねる食べ方も楽しんでしまいました。

ここ来夏世は大人気のお蕎麦屋さん

営業時間が11時から2時までと言うこともあってか、観光客もたくさん訪れる有名店です。

この日も駐車場に入り切れない車が路駐で四、五台は止まっていました。

それでもまぁまぁ回転は良い方で、5組待ちくらいなら並ぶのが嫌いな私でも待つことができました。やっぱりおいしいしね〜！

八重山そばが食べたくなったらまた来ます^_^

We had soba at Kunatsuyu, which is open and open with the windows open.

I had it with a set of Jyu-shi- (rice seasoned and cooked with various ingredients) for a carb-heavy lunch.

I enjoyed eating the soup while munching on the Jyu-shi-rice, adding more deliciousness on top of deliciousness.

Kunatsuyu is a very popular soba noodle restaurant in Ishigaki.

It is a famous restaurant visited by many tourists, probably because it is open only from 11am to 2pm.

On this day, there were four or five cars parked on the street that couldn't fit in the parking lot.

Even so, the turnover was fairly good, and even I, who hates waiting in line, was able to wait for about 20 minutes. After all, it's delicious!

If I want to eat Yaeyama soba, I will come again ^_^.
